When i walk into any automotive shop, auto elec or vw shop with it they all look shocked!

no-one has ever seen one.

It is a white ceramic regulator attached to the alternator brushes and it is off a 12 v motorola alternator. t1.

Can anyone help?

Thanx for all your help, i came to the conclusion that there is none of those regulators in exsistense! so i bit the bullet and bought another alternator!
