FS Northern NSW - 18" chromies
Joel - July 27th, 2007 at 03:50 PM

hey all
need to clear some room in the garage so im gonna start getting rid of things i dont need anymore

these are 18x7 zepters with a ET42 offset multistud (4x100 + 4x113.4) with 225/40 directional goodyear eagles
i originally had them on my celica then put them on my bug but took them off cos the rears got bad negitive camber wear and i wanted to go for a sleeper look instead

they have no gutter rash at all and on 2 the chrome is slightly peeling but not real noticable
all center caps and badges are present
needs 4 new tyres obviously

they wont just fit straight onto a beetle, i had my brakes redrilled for honda pattern but they'd bolt upto mk1/2 golfs passats etc if the clearence is ok

Hi Joel

Very bling, you can fix that camber problem. How did that ET work on your car, was this with the 3 bolt struts?

Free bump

thanks Steve

yeah that was running 3 bolt adjustable struts with honda CRX springs
i couldnt run as low cos the outter edge of the tyre was level with the guards so it rubbed on bumps abit and u couldnt have slipped a buisness card between the inside and the spring but geez it hung on well

they were just way to ricey looking for a classic bug i just couldnt afford turbo twists at the time

funny tho the camber on the back isnt bothering the 205/60/15 i have on there now but on the front cos i have it so low i have a fair bit of neg cam and they are wearing fast
u can see in the 2nd pic it looks about 1.5-2 degrees
adjusted my strut brace last night but i cant seem to get rid of the neg cam when its this low adjusters are maxed out

any ideas?
