I'm after a pair of 12V beetle wiper arms preferably in Brisbane

What year model are you after? Some have the nut to hold them to the pivot and some have a screw under the arm itself.

Cheers

The ones with the screw under the arm are 6V.....the ones I want are the later 12V that have the nut on top.
Thanks

11CAB are these for your Manx?
I can help you with some 12 volt arms but I custom made mine for my Manx and got better results than with stock arms.

Hi Brent, no they're for my Baja.....its an early body, but has a 12V wiper motor fitted

I'll sort some out for you this weekend.

just to avoid confusion 68 and 69 1500 wiper arms also have a grub screw that holds them on the shaft too
70-72 have a big external nut and 73 on have a tiny little nut under a plastic cap
theyre not interchangable either
i got one of each under the house and working out what went with what was a pita

so true
got caught myself trying to fit a set to a 1970 beetle turns out that the car takes the grub screw type as none of the others would fit!!

This is why I asked for the year. I think I still have an NOS set for the 72 series and a used set for the 68-69 models if you are interested.

The 68-69 ones should do the trick....how much are you looking for them?

I will check to make sure I still have them but $10 would get them.

Cheers
