Ok ,... now NO rules have been broken nor has anything improper gone on.

If you send a U2U, then you have to wait untill the person next gets back on the forum. If a person who is selling an item lists a phone number, that would suggest you USE IT, that is if you "really" want the item.

Now when i get a phone call about 15 minutes after i made the post and i am told that the person is happy to pay the price + shipping and wants my bank details... i will take that as SOLD, and that they were FIRST.

At least now I know I can just call the seller direct next time and ignore who ever posts the initial claim or interest for the item; especially with the U2U's being this problematic... :blush:

I think if there is a number its the best method, but if others have posted their interest that would be unfair.

In this case yes I called about and had purchased the radio but this had all happened about 35min before any posts where ever made.
Just look at the time of post and the time of the first post of interest. The radio was sold within 15min of listing.
I presume no access to a computer till after work was the case of no answers or no posts saying it was sold where posted till later in the day.

But its clear the main concern here is a problem with the u2u's not always working, maybe this will need to be looked at?
