Midlife crisis - December 30th, 2007 at 05:09 PM

Howdy people.

Well the time has arrived to empty the yard and the photo's below will give an idea of what is here.

Every part is for FREE just come and take it away.

It starts now until next Sunday Jan the 6th, then it will go into the skip or taken to the scrapyard. If you want to come through the week please call me on 0410 920 488 so I can be home to let you in.

Think of it has a treasure hunt.... dig around and see whats here.

Unfortunately I will not be able to hold things as it must all be gone by Sunday.

There is beetle and type 3 late stuff

I have some B1 Passat 1975 pieces as you will see by the photo's. This is not my stuff so the owner wants $150 for the lot.

The address is 16 Elaroo Street, Marsden and home number is (07) 3805 2038.

silver - December 30th, 2007 at 05:38 PM

OMG no wonder you had complaints!

Midlife crisis - December 30th, 2007 at 05:44 PM

yes but it was all under the house and could not be seen from any side or the front of the house so it was not an eye sore, the only way you could see any of it was to go under my house and look for it.

Nice, wish I was in that part of the world, I'd take the lot.

penguin - December 30th, 2007 at 07:13 PM

Right,
Marc, I'll be there in 20 minuts and take that rotten camo'd country buggy out of your yard as well as a bunch to type 3 gear :)

type3lover - December 30th, 2007 at 07:43 PM

I can't believe you are giving away all that stuff!
It's really good that you are "recycling" the parts though especially through this forum.
Years ago I dumped lots of early type 3 parts to the tip and I have never ever forgiven myself!
And yes, I wish you were not so far away from me too or I'd take some for sure...

Cheers! T :tu:

Rota_Motor - December 30th, 2007 at 08:19 PM

someone pick up all this stuff, I'm sure Danielle will buy a decent pair of type 3 seats (as long as mechanism weorks we can recover) and surely we would be after more type 3 stuff at some stage.

vwsteve - December 31st, 2007 at 07:51 AM

i will take the saas seats if they are still there?

Special Air Service - December 31st, 2007 at 07:57 AM

Would anybody be interested in earning themselves some beer money?

As I live miles away from this bit of action would anyone be willing to look for a few bits & pieces for me & send them on down?

I would be interested in the following:
a late type 3 gear shifter
late type 3 station wagon torsion bars
1600 type 3 dual carb set up, complete or part there of
late beetle inlet manifold (centre section with heat risers intact)
late beetle headlight rings with only a single screw holes (ie. no holes for adjusting lights)

I will provide cash reward for your time & effort.

This may sound a bit presumptuous but I just thought I would ask

Send me a pm or email if you are willing.

Cheers
Brendan
