1965 Beetle shell with sunroof.(sold)
bluebaja - January 6th, 2008 at 09:19 PM

The running gear is spoken for but for sale is the shell complete with doors, windows, gaurds, bumpers, lights, wiring loom etc etc everything except fuel tank and steering column. Basically if you have a decent pan and motor this could be put straight on and driven away.

Price. Looking for 700 ish as it does have a large vinyl type sunroof which is in very good condition (sold the last one by its self for 500) and it is complete!
Condition Very good, some small rust bubbles, one pressing area at the rear next to the flutes where the drip moulding ends. Pillars are rust free as are the doors!
Contact Sam on 0405435382 or u2u
Location Car is to be dismantled in Boondal north Brisbane. Can deliver for small fee.

This is a recent photo and as you can see it is a shame to do this but the running gear is needed for a family manx project.
I might part it out if i get enough interest in the parts.

To confirm it IS a 68 but is registered as a 65 due to an dept transport stuff up.
The sun roof is a "webasto" unit, looks like a factory fit although my research has shown that the webasto company manufactures aftermarket sunroofs for european cars (still in business) so there ya go.
