swap or sell 1600 rebuilt t1 mtr all new parts foer kombi 1600

Hi allI found a beaut professionally rebuilt 1600with new !TP heads p/b's mains and seals BUT no holes for the rear kombi mount bar...anythin I can do?? does not look like this case is suitable for my needs. maybe it is a 1500 case??
will do a sale or swap for similar engine short or long/compl

pls call 04212 86423 if buying swapping or selling a kombi mnt type for a bay!!
bernie / Gympie -will travel..

can find missing bits if repl eng is compl.

You can get an adapter plate that bolts to the case to give the provision for the rear mount.
Long term reliability of this setup is dubious imo. A three point mount case is what you need.

its prob a bug block
most 1600 bug motors have the bosses there just not drilled and tapped
can be done easy enough

I'm currently working on a few project cars (mine and others). Too many details right now!!!

tried Micks ..is h closed for hols??

any offers cosidered on this engine as I am not too keen to use the adaptor
anyone know how good they are ?
I reckon a gearbox strap would help maybe??
