Theres a new one on ebay to fit 60-70 beetle for $170 + $18 postage not sure if they are the same as yours cheers shane.

You will be bloody lucky if they have any new ones - but the do pop up.
You can also try V Force.
"occasionally" he does rebuilt ones. Lot of work.
I think the kits are $350 or so.
So not that much cheaper than new
Any 1302 or 1303 will fit. The difference is where the steering stops are. On the steering box or the pitman arm on the othe side.
Worst case is you wont have any stops and you wheels will rub on the inner guard on lock

guessing you could fabricate a stop of some kind to prevent rubbin...

I've got one but dont know cond $20.00, I do have another thats on a 71 superbug that only did 70 000 but its 2 hours away out bush.

unless u dont have one to start with a later Lbug box can be used u just have to swap the drop arms over
i gotta call round to my folks place this morn which is where my stash is ill see what i have
