I need a new clutch cable urgently, I'm in Newcastle and all possible suppliers here are closed for the day, anyone local have one or can point me in the right direction

Hey donn.
Has your pan been shortened?

If so you will need to get one made.

Thanks to all, reckon I'll be ok in the short term, just about got it back together, manufactured one outa stainless cable, here's hoping

stainless steel should last forever...

there is a company in the US that sells unbreakable clutch and accelerator cables for VWs...

they are not interested in selling to Australia at all..

So it's off the blocks, first thing in the morning I'll give it a run, bit loud for now but 5.30 should be ok, if all's well I'll take dogy for a run at the beach, that'll give it a bit of a run before the cruise.
