I am thinking of selling some parts I have been collecting over the last few years to build a German looker out of an IRS'd Karmann cab beetle I have. I'm going to be selling the beetle soon, and no longer have a use for this kit since I don't have another IRS car.

Its a pretty complete kit that includes:

Full set of genuine Porsche 993 Turbo twist wheels with Good year tyres 7.5'x17 ET55 and 8.5'x17 ET52

New wheel bolts for the above

CB Performance Dropped Spindles (machined to accept Porsche 944 S2 brakes)

Porsche 944 S2 front disks

Porsche 944 Turbo hubs, machined to fit the dropped spindles with new Timken bearings fitted

Porsche 944 S2 brembo brakes (twin spot calipers)

Porsche 944 NA rear hubs and brakes brakes including disks / handbrake drums

Porsche 944 Turbo rear Brembo brakes (twin spot alloy calipers)

Kersher handbrake ends/adapter hats (use your beetle handbrake with the 944 rear brakes)

This kit will bolt up to any ball joint/IRS beetle. You will most likely need a narrowed beam up front, and widened guards on the rear to take advantage of the 8.5' wheels. You can use the beetle master cylinder with a brake bias valve to balance out the brake proportioning.

All the machining work has been done by Lanner at vubcustoms in Canada, and comes with full instructions.

The stopping performance of this conversion is spectacular.

Price $2500 firm.

Cheers

Steve

Super Steve (sick68VW) was after some 17" twists

Maybe do a deal with him??

What an absolute bargain and after going through the same process you'd be crazy not to' well worth way more than what is being asked, add another 2K to the price and thats what your really saving. Cost me about 4K to do mine. And Lanner in Canada does spot on work.

I have no idea if Steve wants to part this lot out but if anyone else is interested in the bits below then we could come to some sort of deal? Fire me an email or whatever so I can work out if I can make this happen.

Also should this all fall into place I will have a set of BJ dropped spindles for disk brake front end, 944 non turbo hubs machined to suite and front and rear calipers that I'll be selling. So let me know if you are chasing any bits.

Sorry its all or nothing.

Just needs someone who is after the Porsche brembo brake/wheel look, that wants all the hard work done, and not have to spend 2 years of collecting overpriced Porsche parts ;)

Cheers
