Hi Joel,
Nothing to do with the stickers but I noticed on the pic of your bug, your rear window rubber has no chrome/plastic inserts,I would assume your windscreen is the same.Looks great.May I ask where they can be bought ? I wasn't looking forward to refitting mine with the inserts!Cheers Ron.

trickysimon - October 29th, 2008 at 05:03 PM

You should be able to buy them from where ever you get the ones with chrome inserts. The ones with chrome inserts are usually called "cal rubbers", or the other way around
Simon

Joel - October 29th, 2008 at 05:47 PM

Ron, as simon said there just a cal look rubbers
probably more common than original chrome strip style
any vw shop will have them

i just ripped the chrome strips out on my first Sbug for DIY cal rubbers
but those ones on my Lbug are west coast metric cal kit
u pay a fortune for them but the quality and fit is worth it

those inserts are a pain in the arse to install
the stainless/aluminim stuff bends and ties itself in knots and the plastic either snaps or just doesnt wanna play ball

Hey Joel, arrived and installed, looks good, thanks. Noticed you are from "Northern Rivers", is that near Lismore? got a mate up there.

only have a couple left if anyone else is interested
i can get other colours will just be abit extra
