my car got defected today for being to low so im selling some bits and pieces to fundraise getting rid of the defect.

1 mesh sunvisor for a beetle it clips on not the screw in type - $140

1 pair of all red us spec taillights suit 62-67 beetle -$20

1 pair of chrome eyelids suit most vw-$15

i also have a pair of fingerplates that go behind the doorhandles for an early beetle -$30

lots of early gaurds doors and panels also.

Not good to hear mattie. Best of luck with going through. You will proberly need a normal beam and fatter front tyres also.

yeah still here got done by two bikes fair pissed i was singled out but what can ya do?

i dont know how much under i was as he didnt measure it just defected it and gave me a $203 fine thanks!

ganna go through as is heath as long as i have 100mm clearance at the lowest point im legit.

open to offers guys really need the cash.

ahh i see a P plate.. a magnet for police ;) Damn she looks good like that.. It is "too low" in reality? if i rememebr the rules the car should be able to sit on the disks and still clear the ground?

Mine is 110 off the ground and i get the thumbs up from plod! Then again,i am a fair bit older than u mattie
They HAVE TO measure it BY LAW to defect you!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone says they dont is fulla s..t
They can legally "estimate your speed" (which is a crock) but they CANNOT estimate a height measurement!
Unfortunately,just pay the fine,you wont win against them
