WTB - Alum dress rings and mudflaps
Andy - February 11th, 2009 at 03:26 PM

Anyone have a good used (or good repro?) set of dress rings for 4 stud wheels.

I'm after the aluminium ones that fill between the hubcap and the tyre on late type 3's and beetles (I think they are the same?)

Also after a set of white mudflaps, prefer with brackets and logo's.

I have a set of the criss cross aluminium trims. They were on an early 5 stud beetle, not sure if they fit 4 stud ones.

Here is a pic:-

The ones used on type 3s with those in between hubcaps
had stainless steel dress rings I think...
they had slots in them too...
they were used between the 5 stud and normal 4 stud wheels... and hubcaps...

Just remember that the Beetle and Type 3 dress rings are NOT the same, to allow for the different offsets. They were all made of aluminium and have the slots which match the slotted 4 stud rims, Cheers, Pat.

Thanks for that Pat, something I didn't know!! I'll make sure I check it out.
Doesn;t matter if I get the wrong ones as I have a beetle and a type 3 anyway :)
