1776 complete engine on ebay

found this on eBay if anyone is interested

I know the guy who is selling it and have seen the bus it ccame out o.... sweet! so i thought id post it up, i would buy it if it was a pancake engine.
Bought some Brms of him, his name is Ronnie, nice guy, loves his Vw's and hot rods...

i checked out this motor last sunday when i was there
a good engine but that 2180 is a nice bit of gear
just need to convince Ronnie to part with it :cool:

Gone from 44 Kadrons back to 34 pict 3, motor must be quite mild.

Not saying it isn't a 1776, but it would have been nice to have had some photos before the engine was pulled out and with its dual carbs in place. How do we know for sure its a 1776, looks like any other 1600 to me.

Not meaning to be negative, just curious.

take the heads off and look at the numbers.......a trained eye could tell from the spiggot holes/machining on the case
