Wanted to Buy 12v Starter Motor

from auto Kombi (might even be same as earlyT3?)
or semi auto beetle
or type 3 auto

does anyone have one they could part with...
all conditions considered...

I had one that I had completely rebuilt incl new solanoid, 2l auto kombi unit, will haves look under the house tomorrow morning

Ditto for me. If another comes up, I'll be next in the queue. I need starter to go in an auto type 3. I'm in SYD, freight no problem

latest edition of VWMA mag has them new at MIcks motors (07)32668133

One went on ebay cheap [I think] last week...
was cheap when i last saw it...

some of the later type 2 auto starters will fit too
they are just a bit longer..

the drive gear can wear out, but can be replaced...
Volksbahn have the drive gears..

and Mick Motors has new Starter motors that will fit..

Yeppas and most bosch people have the reconed starter motors as well, i have never had an issue sourcing them. (unlike the wiring loom and covers that come with them. :P )
