I'm in need of a Type 3 engine - Anyone have a spare one lying around?

Twin Port, for a 1971 manual TL

Mechanically sound, or requiring only minor work.

Dont mind if a donor car is still attached!

I have a 1600 twin port, needs minor bits, I am in SA. I bought the engine seperate to my type 3 TL, it needed carbs and rocker cams, I have bought these although when i got the carbs they had single port manifolds not the dual so they will be needed and I bought brand new chromed air filters too. I have a distributor for it, the oil cooler, no ALT and its probably missing some other minor components, will take piccy's saturday and post in here if ya want to have a look., If you want to buy I would be after only what i have spent in acquiring the engine and said bits, I can only give a slight history to the engine as thats all that was told to me, It was owned by a Mechanical Engineer in melbourne, he had taken the engine out and rebuilt it, new copper gaskets and internals...so I was told, and then it was shelved as he kept the second motor in the car, compression is good, all ports have been kept covered, nothing is seized. Let me know how much your willing to pay and i will reply back.
