Me too. The manufacturer must have a counting problem and a dodgy protractor. LOL.

i can buy these exact rims from midland in the U.K for just over $800.......................................

unless you got 5... but even then it would be under a grand..

1303 - June 1st, 2009 at 11:43 AM

wow!! I normally only bother responding to sales ads when I want to buy something, not to shit can or try to prove a seller wrong!! clearly you guys have too much time on your hands!!:tu::tu::smilegrin:

But for the serious buyer, have a look at this link

http://www.justaircooled.co.uk/camper-brm-alloy-wheel-wide-5-stud-5x205mm.html

Buy price works out at $1034AU for the wheels, not including freight + import duty 10% + GST 10%

So based on this, I would think $1100 is a fair asking price:smilegrin:

Cheers

Paul

$1200 is exactly what it cost me to get my 4 spoke BRM (Copies) in 5.5" from Midland wheels 4 or 5 years ago. and that was with someone bringing them back for me.

How you could get them from Midlands to Australia for just over $800 for 4 i don't know. But i will have a few sets at that price please.

Flat 4 BRMs from CB Performance will set you back around $970AUD then you have to add Shipping , Duty and tax's
The BRM Copies from midlands will set you back around $760AUD then you have to add your shipping , duties and tax's exc
No way you could get them cheaper bud.

when importing anything into the country there is a $250 gst slap on then there is quarentine charges, the wheels them selves postage so i think you will find that getting them in for 1034 bucks aint gonna happen

Sure it will. YOu don't pay import for anything under $3K or get em shipped as a present from your parents in the UK :)

Hey Hey Mainebugs,

Your statement is not correct, re: import charges etc.

Here is the statement from the Australian Customs website, re: imported goods:

"Imported goods with a value of A$1000 or less
Imported goods arriving by post will be released duty and tax free by Customs for delivery direct to the addressee.

Imported goods with a value of more than A$1000
Irrespective of how your imported goods arrive in Australia, you will be required to lodge a formal Customs import declaration if their value is above $1,000, and to pay the calculated duty and taxes."

See - http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page5549.asp

I recently imported a CSP Python exhaust system, the value of the exhaust was around A$920. The shipping, f#@!, around A$200. Total cost A$1150.00.

The exhaust system was delivered to my door, and I paid NO duty or taxes.

If you want a set of sharp looking, silver 4 inch Replica BRMs, buying them from 1303 would be the smart way to do it.

1303, good luck with the sale
