WTB: dash clip shipped to U.S.
jamie1302 - June 5th, 2009 at 03:30 PM

well I've been working on my project car again lately since life has calmed down some and am back to the RHD conversion i started except I still don't have the dash clip i bought nearly 2 years ago and am looking for someone else that may be willing to ship one over.

Does it have to the padded version of the dash or will a standard metal one do?

Hi Jamie, How can I help? Dave

dash is going into a 72 super so 68-up standard or 71-72 super should work.

dave sent you a pm

Does anyone know who to use for shipping?

jamie1302 - June 10th, 2009 at 09:51 PM

the guy i bought it from is from Brisbane but i don't want to give out his name on a public forum. I met him by looking for some of the parts i needed on ebay and just emailed him and we got started talking through IM's on AOL to arrange everything. We had everything worked out and all the parts i was after so i paid for the parts and what the shipping was supposed to be. It's been almost 2 years now and I am looking at other options to get my car done so it can be painted for next show season.

As far as shipping. I've always used my local post office when i ship stuff over there and have received packages shipped form your post offices so i figure if i find just the dash section and have it cut in half at the radio hole then it should be able to be shipped by post office.

that is how I would ship it..cut it in half u have e-mail maybe even 3 cuts
as size plus weight is considered by post office.
I have posted direct from local post office to USA, lohoon.

my son will also be in California for an expo soon all being well.

Hi

Sorry that you had a bad experience with the local guy. If you go to Australia Post website you can plug in package sizes to calculate charges.
