Hi all, I am desperately seeking a twinport 1600 for my kombi. If I am able to find one it will be the third try, first was sold to me as running - bolt in and off you go. Bolted it in and found it had a cracked case, and there were some issues with the heads. slightly disheartened I then purchased a second only to be having issues with it also, im not sure what the problem is, suspected bearing gone somewhere. The usual story goes... more time and money and all would be sweet...

A complete running engine would be fantastic but thanks to my first 2 purchases i do have the tin, generators flywheel and clutches, and exhausts etc if thats all that is needed. In that case something that i can put all my exterior bits on and drive. If anyone knows the where abouts of a good sound solid engine I would love to hear from you. In or around Brisbane would be perfect but close to would be just as good.
