Hi,
OK time to rid myself of those bits and pieces I've got but no longer require. Most are free except where noted. I would prefer pickup in Brisbane,
but for the items that aren't too large or heavy I can AusPost at your cost, although I will only be able to make the post office infrequently during
some of my lunch breaks, and only do in batches so I'm not burning my time or fuel.
Anything free that doesn't go will probably end up at Sims or the dump I
would rather someone find a use for it). Condition of all should be usuable (otherwise I would have just threw them).
First confirmed post or PM gets it.
- 4 stud rear brakes. Plenty of meat on drum and pads so perfect to keep a daily driver going with spending $. Free.
- wide 5 rear drum. Plenty of meat. Bought as used replacement for mine as I was at the time stripping splines (definitely was tight!?) but never
fitted. Free.
- T1 balljoint standard sway bar. Free.
- Early T1 brake reservoir. Free.
- Early VDO washer reservoir. Free.
- Coil. Free.
- Complete set chrome extra long 4 stud wheel nuts. Perhaps you could cut to Std length is you wanted chrome nuts (but check the engineering and
legalities 1st). Free.
- 4 stud wheel nuts. Free.
- Powdercoated and vented T1 value covers made years ago by Custom off road. Avoid excessive blowby in big breathing engines. $10 for the pair.
- 1 used alloy filler. Free.
- 1 unused, but mildly scratched T1 alloy oil filler. $5.
- Painted front indicators. Lens average. Off 68+ I believe. Free.
- Painted 4 stud hub caps. Most good physical shape. Paint very average, but good if you want to repaint to colour code yourself. Free.
- Single port cylinder covers. Metal good condition, could do with repaint. Free.
- Front ball joint drums and spindles. Should have plenty of meat to all components. Free.
- Front wide 5 drums, spindles and knuckles. I believe I replaced pads, cylinders on these a few 1000k before pulling, so those parts should be quite
serviceable. Free.
- Sharpbuilt T4 upright (into T1) conversion headers and exhaust. Fine if you are just going a std T4 2L, but maybe not for any fire breathers.
Unused, $100.
- 2 king pin spindle locking nuts. I.e. the aftermarket equivalent of the ball joint locking nuts. This is it: http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC%2DC10%2D4210. Makes bearing and brake jobs a pleasure without needing
to do the double nut thing. Slightly used, $15.
- 2 x single port intake manifolds. Free.
- Dual port intake manifold and end castings. Free.
- Various coils. Free.
- Fuel pump. Free.
- Single circuit master cylinder. Not leaking when removed (I upgraded to dual circuit. Free.
- Diff housing from SSP box (if that makes a difference). Free.
- Steering box. Unsure of condition, as got from donor beam. Seems smooth, and can't really tell without putting it in if there is play. Free.
- Golf single side draft Lynx manifold for DCOE/DHLA. Sandblasted at one point. $50.
- 2 disassembled single port heads. Running fine when upgraded. Uncracked as far as I can tell. Perfect for rebuild. Free.
- Early aftermarket door cards (were on a '66). The drivers side has slight water damage but very useable, the passenger is perfect, and the rears
are good. Upgrade those tatty and missing cards. Free.
- 6/12V Penola (?) radio. Unsure of condition. Missing part of knobs (but easy to fit others or turn some up. Free.
- Front indicators off '66. Lens are so so, chrome and interior very good. Free.
- Unused louvered stainless firewall. Still has protective coating. $20.
- Powdercoated, shaved doghouse shroud with T4 oil cooler conversion. I had to reshape the sides with an ugly stick to clear some carbies, but
doesn't affect operation, just looks. Doesn't include but needs the corner piece of the doghouse modified to suit (either weld or pop-rivet a L
extension to the std piece). Free.
- Original 36HP shroud and genny I found in a farm shed and thought someone may need. Surface-rust, maybe useful to someone. Free.
- Speaker box to fit snugly behind back seat of '66 (and assume earlier). Room for 1 10inch sub and 2 6x9s. Made by g/f's brother who was cabinet
maker so if very good quality. Room behind sub box for amp mounting. Worked very well. Free.
- Side mirror I removed off a bug door. I guess aftermarket. Mirror is good, but chrome pitted, so may want to colour code. Free.
