colonel mustard,

As stated in original post, it's for a twinport Beetle engine, 1300 or 1600 will be the same. Mine's a 1300 tp but it's in a '61 model so, year model is pretty irrelevant.

Matt

there are a few different types of the hot air pipe
depending on what engine tin ware you have fitted

Matt Ryan - September 28th, 2009 at 08:40 AM

Dave,

Will be fitted with stock 1300/1600 twinport rear tin, with single heat risers.

Single or twin heat risers was the only difference in late (twinport) rear tin as far as I know.

Regards,

Matt.

all the 12volt bug ones are the same overall just minor cosmetic differences

Hi
You can usually pick them up for $5 at swap meets....

Most beetles no longer have them..
but still have the 50mm hole letting hot air into the engine compartment which is a no no...
