Hi,

For sale is the following to suit a type IV kombi engine:

One brand new pair of AMC 2L round port heads including valves and springs
Asking price $1000
One brand new Cofap piston and barrell set for a 2L type IV kombi engine
Asking price $400

I am happy to post (registered post only for the sake of all concerned)
The only reason we a re selling this is that we have picked up a 71 Kombi that is more complete than the '72 project we were stuck in the middle of, so the the type IV motor is not going to be used (T1 style motor in the '71)
I will have some more parts up for sale soon including the complete 1800cc motor clutch to exhaust, and the Kombi shell and other pieces once I get some good photos.

Is the 1800 going and what is the general condition?

Hi grumble.

The 1800 was running when we bought the car, no hassles to start, idled fine etc. The car was unregistered when we bought it (i had it shipped up from Victoria so didn't see the value in keeping the rego alive) so haven't had the chance to drive it on the road. The guy that had it used to drive it and reported no problems. I will do a compression check on it and give the results from that as an indicator along with some photos.
