nicolasw - January 29th, 2010 at 08:48 PM

hey mate what do you mean by one pot is lazy?

VWCOOL - January 30th, 2010 at 06:57 AM

One pot (piston) isn't working as it should - without doing a full diagnosis, it is suffering a dud spark plug, loss of compression or burnt valve

matberry - January 30th, 2010 at 09:24 AM

If this is getting parted out, will you strip out the wiring loom or some of it? I am interested wiper and steering column wiring, but could be persuaded in the whole lot.

Joel - January 30th, 2010 at 10:16 AM

wow noones asked for the bumper yet

matt if you have no joy i think ive got a 74-76 column with all the switches and looms for wiper/indicator and ignition

DylanTheDubber - January 30th, 2010 at 01:19 PM

I would have asked already but am broke the time being lol. from Dylan

beetleboyjeff - January 30th, 2010 at 02:21 PM

It hasn't got a rack & pinion has it? if so, I am interested.

vw54 - January 30th, 2010 at 05:56 PM

Glen

Whats the chassis like ???

VWCOOL - January 31st, 2010 at 08:48 AM

Matt, I can strip the harness (complete - I will cut the shell rather than the loom) and sell with the steering column and door locks if you wish. The wiring has been 'cut and shut' sometime in the past to fit an ignition keypad thingo and has a few extra wires for radios etc but apart from that it should come up well - one of the reasons I bought this car was to use the wring but the fusebox doesn't fit mine. Mail order? Might be best to call me...

Jeff, no R&P as it's a flat-screen;

Dave, chassis is rooted. I may consider fixing it for another project if the $ don't add up too far, otherwise it's scrap

vw54 - January 31st, 2010 at 09:41 AM

it would be OK if the pans are buggared

funbug - January 31st, 2010 at 02:49 PM

Do you still have the front bumper? If so, is it original and rust free? If so, I am interested.

ttriebler - January 31st, 2010 at 04:21 PM

If the chassis is buggered can I have the frame horns and rear torsion out of it to build a gearbox demo stand?

All I need is the wiper and indicator plugs that go into the column. It'd be nice to have the associated wires too. It would make the instalation easier of the late column I already have. Might be able to use Joels if he has bits already cut up, save your wiring to keep it with the column & keys etc..

cam070 - February 2nd, 2010 at 11:10 PM

Have you got a 2 speed air switch? If so dibs on that.
And what condition are the headlight surrounds in?

ttriebler - February 3rd, 2010 at 09:04 PM

Well? Any chance I could have the frame horns and torsion out of the wrecked pan?

Hi Glenn,

Cheers

Dave

VWCOOL - February 6th, 2010 at 06:50 AM

VW dave:

Column, steering wheel, complete wiring harness (removed from car) and door latches (all with key) $150

hulbyw - February 6th, 2010 at 08:21 PM

Is it a klm speedo and working? If so how much are you asking?

beetleboyjeff - February 6th, 2010 at 09:03 PM

Do you still have the steering shaft (I need the one with the smaller top for the steering wheel) and possibly the lower shaft as well? I will take the whole lot as you advertised it if that is how you wish to sell it, or just the shafts (that is what I would prefer).

VWCOOL - February 7th, 2010 at 08:35 AM

Jeff, car has one-piece steering ckumn as it is a 76 flat-screen, but I may be able to help you with a 'small spline' L-Bug column, PM me or call

Hulby, speedo is good: check link below
