I have a Mexican / Brazilan bodied bug that originally came from Fermans about 10 years ago.My bug got pranged. Bugger. Makes it worse that I was not at the wheel at the time but I digress.

Chasing bonnet and front valance and drivers side guard.
Cannot find a new long bonnet - Pre 67 is my understanding and cannot find a drivers side front guard without a hole in the top.
Went to Fermans - wow that was lots of fun! I didn't think those kind of places existed anymore. Really enjoyed the whole experience. They have the front valance (so they say) but no bonnet. Went to Tooley imports also. They had an early front guard - with 12V headlight bowl - but this has a hole in the top of the guard. Bugger.
Anyone got any suggestions? I love the long bonnet shape and the clean lines of the integrated headlight / indicator. But I have my doubts if the newer bonnet will fit the profile of the body.
Do I have the option to change over the bonnet, valance and guards to the later model?
Can someone tell me where to get a long bonnet and front guard.

Any info rewarded with free beer tomorrow.

i have a 67 bonnet and valance you could cut off $150 and you can have d/side guard and doors n d/side rear guard too all ok cond just small repairs needed

Does anyone know where I can dig up Klaus - or perhaps he is stuck under his beetle in the shed.
