checked it out and seems like a last option - I mean they look great but surely there is a company in Australia that can do this ? Anyone at all?

What about re-chroming options?

Very pricey though. I'd personally go plain white ones. They look just as good if not better IMO

Try the guys at Hamilton chrome in Newcastle they did a great job rechroming the bumpers for my ghia.Also Johnny Walker at Coffs Chrome does a great job.

do you have any idea on re chroming costs Grumble? - even ball park - assuming the old ones were straight and didn't need any work done on them?

Not sure but whatever it is will be better than the 3 day before rusting aftermarket chrome ones that I have seen.The Ghia bars ran into a few bucks due to the number of sections and the fact that he also did some repairs.

if yar want chrome then dig deep in yr pockets at least 500 each

How bad are they now. Have you tried Autosol on them? Amazing stuff for restoring chrome.
