TYPE 3 Automatic axils and Pedal assembly wanted!

I am converting my 68 Notch to auto and am chasing axils and pedal assembly. Any help or have for sale please let me know!

Have a 69 auto fasty here with minor accident damage to nose r/h front guard was registered till late last year ..wont break up $1300

Am moving from Cairns to Brisbane next week. Will be quite hectic for the first couple of months, when settled down and if still avaliable might be interested.

gday mate, i have a pedal assembly here i think off a bug, should be the same as type 3,also have an auto box off a bug and other spares,no cvs, will sell the lot for $100, wont separate and live at caboolture near brisbane, steve 0409475131

You can modify your Beetle pedals to suit.I think your car would have the steel flat bar pedals(not cast like early Beetles)-so just cut the clutch pedal off completely and either weld some flat steel (the corect size) to the existing brake pedal-or do as I have done on one-I cut the metal pad from an early Magna and welded it on.You will have to off-centre it so you don't get jammed on the throttle pedal.I would suspect that the auto Beetle pedals would fit anyway-because it's only brake and throttle pedal needed.For the original pedals,I have been using the Magna pedal rubbers,because they are very close to the OG's for size.You just have to lighty grind the top corners of the pedal to suit.

the pedal assembly i have is the steel flat bar type as des ribed by nbturbo above, it is the completesetup with accelerator and prettysure still has the rubber too

Steve-the Bug auto pedal you have there is identical to the Type 3 one I fitted to my Oval.Will get him out of trouble.
