I purchased a complete engine in the US last November as it was supposedly only done 5000 miles . I stripped the engine and have freshened it up with the following components ;
Used magnesium case , std thrust and first oversize
Std late crank std/std
Std reco conrods
New Engle w 110 cam
New Scat solid lifters
New pushrod tubes
Used 94mm piston/barrel kit , Honed with approx 5000 miles
Used Melling steel oil pump
Reco 041 heads with 40mm stainless intake and 35.5mm stainless exhaust valves , fresh valve job , hand ported
New solid shimmed rocker kit with swivel feet adjusters
Std flywheel

This engine should be good for around 100 hp and has a compression ratio of 8.8:1 . I am asking $ 3000 for this engine and would work well with a set of 40mm dellorto's for and extra $ 600 . This is located in Wollongong NSW and can be shipped Australia wide , ROD , 02-42729920
