I have deleted this post for the rims as one of the moderators has nothing better to do with their time . I had posted 2 seperate adds for 2 different types and styles of rims and the moderators dont know the difference between them and they had combined the 2 adds . Well done DION , you need to get all of your information correct and a notification to one of the FORUM SPONSORS would have been appreciated first . ROD.

but i do know the difference between them rod and i did send you a pm about merging the two threads.
as for not having anything better to do with my time i work for the govt.
also being a forum sponsor does not entitle you to be above the rules that all forum user have to adhere to.

Dion ok then , please let me know the difference between a set of polished American Eagle rims and a set of Black Empi 5 spokes . These are not the same and I cannot seem to find where in the rules it states that I cannot post 2 seperate items for sale . I do not belive I am above the rules , I belive I am offering a service to other VW enthusiasts and comply with the rules , and have something constructive to contribute to this site . ROD.

i know for a fact that you cant buy the original empty rims any more, the replicas the are being sold at the moment are american eagles.
also i cant go back and have a second look as you have deleted rather quickly not giving the chance to change it.
from memory they were both five spokes the only difference being one was polished and the other being black

as for post flooding here is the section from the rules of the parts section

Dion , you need to do some more research as as usual you are wrong . There are the 5 spoke rims made by American Eagle and come in a box marked American Eagle . Then there are the 5 spokes made by Empi that come in an Empi box . These are 2 totally different rims made by 2 totally different manafactures in 2 totally different countries . Despite the fact that one set is polished priced @ $ 755 and the other set is powdercoated black and priced $ $ 580 . I have read the rules and according to the rules , if you have multiple posts , YOU WILL BE REQUESTED TO SPONSOR THE FORUM , So I sponsor the forum , ROD.

It seems to me that if Rod sponsors this forum then he is well witnin his right to post multiple items thats just how i read point 1. Keep up the good work Rod.

I clicked on a thread about Empi 5's,
instead it's a thread about some one becoming a moderator, then turning into power hungry wanker??

Is that right? just want to make sure I understand?

as for power hungry, those that know me know thats not me.
as for a wanker maybe but once again those that know me.
as for my spelling thats bloody auto spell on the computer. i should know what empi rims are as i had a set of them as well


all i can say is that this could of been sorted with a pm but instead the original poster decided to delete the post and make an issue of it.
also for some back ground this poster has been see numerous times undercutting people in their own threads because he can bring things in cheaper through other channels than what has already being sold ( note im not saying that he is doing it illegally)
this issue is finished
