Not sure mate, it is a dual circuit. If your close you can try it and if it doesn't fit just return it.

No pm from you Aussie Dubbin.

Yes, front discs and rear drums.
I'll strip my chassis this weekend and post pics of all the gear.

Superbug uses a different mounting flange than a STD Beetle so only an S bug 1303 MC will fit.

grogy - January 23rd, 2011 at 05:35 PM

hi, do u have wide 5 type 3 rear brakes that will fit a bug/ghia, and a dual circuit master gylinder. thanks greg ps pm me u ph number if u do

Birdman - January 15th, 2016 at 09:32 PM

I sold the type 3 brake setup shown at the top of this post to someone on here years ago and now I'm trying to replicate the setup on my current project.
Note the custom calipers brackets allowing late 76mm type 3 calipers on beetle spindles. Does anyone have brackets like these or know were to get them. The ones pictured were custom made and came with a car so I don't know where to get them.

Aussie Dubbin - January 16th, 2016 at 08:43 PM

Copy the pic and start a new thread. The plates are available from a few different people. I would try Ian ..... Can't remember at unique fabrications northers suburbs Adelaide. I would think John Sherman could supply you some. And then the international sites too

Birdman - January 16th, 2016 at 09:44 PM

I could do that but I'm also hoping the original buyer might respond. I don't think adaptors for 76mm bolt spacing are as common as you think otherwise I would have found them by now but Thanks for the leads.
