It just begs the question - what happened to have only one for sale!?

Well, if you really want to know!
When preping the vee for historic racing I needed two 4.5" rims. They were seeminly hard to get and I paid more than the money I'm asking. The car already had a set of 5.5/4.5" mangels. I sold the 5.5" mangel on this forum and kept the 4.5" mangels. I lent the wheels to a friend and he had a prang bending one of the wheels.That is why I only have one! And the Dunlop tyre fitters will not fit race tyres to old vw wheels anymore as most do not have a safety bead. That is why Im selling the wheel!
The vee assn did a group buy and I have a brand new set of 4.5" mangels fitted!
