Hi all, I am putting some feelers out for a good 1300 engine. Engine must be running with good compression and no bad noises or knocks. Would prefer complete with everything. Price would depend on the unit.

As a side note I do not want a 1600 but would consider a 1200 with the big bore option. I plan on building a period styled car and I want period performance.

See my add here Hi all , when i built the Rat Racer recently it came with a stock 1200 / 40 hp motor fitted which is no longer needed .
As with many items on this car it would seam to have had a rebuild recently ie in the last 5 to 10 years and then the car was parked up due to the poor body condition .
Have run the motor and it sounds nice and tight and am willing to provide a compression test if requested , has no major oil leaks , is complete from oil bath aircleaner to sump plug including all tinware ( which has stale air heater system ).
Is still all 6 volt including the large dia bosche dizzy .
