patina - December 5th, 2010 at 06:40 PM

Hey guys,
i need a narrowed beam to fit on my:

Does anyone know of someone in Australia who fabricates beams as i would rather get one here than from the US,
due to time.

Yes,
there was a beautiful looking narrowed beam on here last week
it had been made...
wasn't a modified VW one....

although its much quicker to modify the front end You have...

Someone on here should be able to help You..

You mean much slower considering you chop the centres between your uprights and your shock towers to narrow a balljoint beam Lee i doubt you'll find someone willing to do it for less than the cost of a new Cb beam.

how much is a new one (including shipping)? remember your torsion leaves also need to be cut down too, or order shortened ones

i had mine ball joint beam narrowed and adjusters welded in at CBB in penrith. vaguely remember it was around $400ish which included disassembly, the mods, castor shims, reassembly and wheel alignment

If you narrow the beam it will have to be engineered, as i understand it you will have trouble convincing a automotive engineer that narrowing the track with not change the handling and safety of the car.
