OK got what I wanted and rescued a couple of bits if others are intrerested
1. front and rear bumpers, a bit of surface rust but nice and straight
2. both front wrap around indicator lenses
3. rear LH indicator lense
4. tow bar

laquerhead - December 6th, 2010 at 05:00 PM

Does the towbar fit on a standard rear bumper?
Also is it possible to send to 3806 Melbourne?

I'll send it to Antartica if you are prepared to pay the postage, as I didn't take it off I'm not sure though it apears to fit back to the body work, PM me you mobile and I'll send you a pic, cost will be postage and a receipt for a reasonable sum to the Sallies, they do great work, and that way you get a tax deduction. :tu:

Hi! I'm desperatly chasing front blinkers for my type 3 squareback. But it's a 1970, so I"m having trouble. what year is this one? I'd be happy to pay postage and everything.
cheers
Lydia

Not sure of year, think it's a '73 the blinkers are wrap around, is that any help? do you need the whole unit or just the lenses.if anyone can tell me where to find the year model i could go back and check.

NCH-003 - December 9th, 2010 at 09:30 AM

If they are the big wrap around indicators units, going by the pic Lydia has posted they will fit...

Thanks guys, I got some off Ben and when I went to pick up panels the nice guy gave me one as well :) I'm chasing a front Valance piece?? you wouldn't happen to have one?

donn - December 10th, 2010 at 01:23 PM

Yep, there's one on this fella, tell me how to remove it and I'll see what I can do for you (I just love pulling things apart)

lyds - December 10th, 2010 at 02:02 PM

Good question. I wouldn't have a clue, I'll see if I can find out.....I guess firstly what year is the one your pulling apart? my square is a 1970 I've found alot of stuff won't fit depending on the year. And I'm in QLD so I'll need to find out how much postage would be for that part. I just don't want you to go to the toruble and then it not be right. ;)

donn - December 10th, 2010 at 03:13 PM

According to Scott it's a '70 model

I'm not sure how to get that piece off but if you work it out and you want to sell it I'm keen. as long as the postage is under 100.00. Up to you though :)
