FS NSW ERNST NOS 40HP 1200cc Mufflers bus and bug, pics added
Birdman - December 20th, 2010 at 07:44 PM

I have a few NOS mufflers available for $120 each in sydney. They are solid but would require a repaint for a show car.
They Ernst brand and made in West Germany!

Are these the same as a 1600cc muffler for a type 1 donk?

They look the same.

Any advice is helpfull.

Thanks,

Scott

1200 and 1600 are not the same mate

Scottkombi - January 24th, 2011 at 10:17 PM

What's the difference??

They look exactly the same as my muffler off my 1641 type 1.

Birdman - January 26th, 2011 at 07:43 PM

I think the difference is the spacing between the heads.

pod - January 26th, 2011 at 07:53 PM

correct ^^ 1200 slightly thinner than 13/1600

Bizarre - January 26th, 2011 at 08:25 PM

1200 - 64 crank

1600 - 69 crank

5 mm difference
