Yeah I know, what are my chances but thought Id throw it out there anyway. Getting up and running my restored HJ ute and am after a Rochester Quadrajet carby and good 4 barrel manifold to suit. Also Bosch electronic ignition (all for a 253 V8).

If its gathering dust and can find a new home, let me know.

Cheers, Andrew (Sydney)

Klaus would be a shame for me to just steal the Edlebrock manifold then  Sounds nice but I thought about an engine transplant with everything done but this is a 1 owner vehicle in storage for 17 years and thus I would like to keep all the original matching numbers.

If you hear of anything let me know.

Klaus, would preferably be after Edlebrock Performer manifold. What are "b" cast heads?

If it's going on a 253 the standard 253/308 intake manifold will be better suited than an edelbrock performer.

B cast heads are what came on the Brock commodores as far as I know, but then again, I don't know much : )

I have a stock intake here too to suit red heads if you're interested.

Klaus, is the cain manifold a tunnel ram (twin carb) or single carb? I'm chasing a tunnel ram to suit red heads.

HT prem sounds like a good thing. Just needs a 5 speed : )

Hi, my son left some carby bits with me from a 253, don't know if these are any good, the pics show most of it,

its a dual but missing the top section, the 253 was / is worked and made 180hp at the flywheel not much but enough. Having only a 465 makes it nice to drive well when it wasnt rusted out.
