Hey guys,

Looking for an honest 1300 with a bit of life left in it to replace my 1200 thats on its last legs. Preferably with the fuel pump, generator attached.

I have a modest budget. If you think you might have something that can sort me out .. please give me a shout. PM me you number. Located in Sydney.

Cheers.. Ben.

Bump.

Still hunting about for an engine - I have been up to Kombi Rescue, also spoken to Adam at Raw, and plan to head up to VWKing this weekend if I can get the time free. (thanks for the suggestion Polly, I'm on it. :)) I have found some options, still deciding on whats the best one.

I basically need something reliable cause if something breaks down after this repair my wife will make me sell it :)

My budget has gone up - I have about $800-$1000 to spend on an engine. Something that will bolt in relatively hassle free from 1300 through to 1600. My bugs 6volt, split case transmission, anyone has something they would like to sell to a good home. let me know.

Ben.

p.s. must be around sydney area or within a couple of hours drive.

Good luck with Moshe, Ben. Let me know how it goes. I hope you aren't allergic to cats either. Haha. You'll know what I mean when you go there.

Have a 1600 motor for $1000 that took out of a 72 Beetle, but the downside is you need to take a trip to Melbourne to pick it up or organise a courier.

Cheers

Craig

Gday Shane, I might take you up on that, need to make a call and see if it will work with a 1300 I have been looking at.

Cheers.
