if anyone is interested i have a subaru EA82 engine for sale, flat 4 as can be seen in some VW around the place
kind of lost favour now that EJ engines are around

these engines are bullet proof the one in my car now has over 400k on it and its had a hell of a ride
i brought this as part of deal with a guy and was going to keep it as a spare but figured why the hell do i need it

from what ive been told, engine has had water pump and all that jas, timing belt and plugs done before i bought it, immediatly before IE never driven

im looking for about$550 for the engine but im happy to do a deal, can also sell some other parts of the car if you want them

the 82s are 1.8 double over head cams, this is a single carby model

Double overhead cam? I thought the EA82 was SOHC?

EA 82 is DOHC, one for each bank of cylinders, so yeah technically its a SOHC but im just passing on manufactures information

will be sold with alternator, but without power steering pump (available but extra cause i have plans)
and lastly a price drop to $450 everything else is the same as the OP
