So, who did the Subi conversion gear? sn't the 18 an EA18 and the EJ20 different?

no you can have a EJ18 it is out of sport wagons and early imprezzas. The EA81 is an older 1.8L

In reply to Aussie D....this motor is an EJ 18 not an EA...I bought the complete setup from Vicsbahn together with a gearbox (it came out of an Oval being brought back to stock) to fit into a project,which won't happen since my '67 bus project is now allconsuming and dollar hungry. The adaptor is a John Sherman (0755377770) setup, and he confirmed this fits ej18 through to ej25.... price is negotiable, as I need garage space.......hope this helps....
