They wont fit my type3 will they? What's the offset?

I don't have time to do major metal work - but for those wheels.... They are such a nice look!!!

azzatron - April 30th, 2011 at 05:50 PM

They can fit a type 3 but youd need narrower tyres and itll depend how low your car is.
I was literally looking at getting some of these wheels last week. You can get them for about $1200US landed with no tyres : http://www.grwheels.com/index%20ENG.htm  (you may need to pay duties due to it being over $1000). I also got a quote from a vendor on the samba who can get them to me for $1050US, but it depends if you want painted or not etc which changes the price.
These ones are already in Australia and come with tyres so aren't a bad deal especially for those who don't feel like waiting for shipping.
Theyre great looking rims. Wish they came in 15" or even 16" though.

They do.... Randee (thats his name) makes them from Randar....
The wheels are called Randars and they are a copy of the original Sears Randar Wheel.

Sorry for jumping the post....

Thanks for the heads up mate, never seen those before.
In the past people have pointed me to Raders which don't have the flat machined surface. The Randars look spot on. They end up more expensive for me than the 17's though, oh well.
Sorry about the thread hijack.
