wtb cheap engine for 59 beetle or 1600 dp not running

Hi all. looking for a cheap running engine for my beetle. any size is good.Basically im looking for a cheap runner while i rebuild a new motor. also looking for 1600 twin port heads in good nic. even consider a cheap 1600 not running. located in forster nsw. phone 0417443334 or (02)65592417

Tony,I had a look at some Vw stuff this afternoon,there were a couple of type 3 TP engines laying around,one was almost complete. If you are interested give me a call on 0408 025 845.They are also local.
