Im after a popes nose(number plate light) for a W deck lid,complete or housing only???

Hi Shane,
I have a yellow popes nose in the shed, ill grab a photo of it tomorrow morning and put it on to see if it is what you are after,

Hey Shane,
i dug out the popes nose and it is flat where it bolts on to the deck lid so im not 100% sure that it is for a true W deck lid.
i took some photos but am having some tech difficulties up loading them.
ill get the images to you as soon as i can this afternoon.

W decks can be flat or with the ridge where the popes nose bolts to.

THE POPE'S NOSE LICENCE PLATE /STOP LAMP IS VERY RARE
It was used on early beetles [split rear window] when the tail lamps were only tail lamps with round red glass lenses.
The stop lamp was in the pope's nose licence plate ..
so, it glowed RED when the brakes were used...
so, it glowed like the pope's nose....
there were a few different small licence plate lamps used after that ... these did NOT glow red with the brakes...
and looked a bit similar in size to a PRE- 1964 licence plate lamp...

Im after a license plate plate light for a W deck lid,there are people who call them popes nose,i DONT want one like the ones in the pictures lee

w lids are also 54 55 56 and to Aug 57, Shane - but not stop light just nr plate
