Wanted to buy 1300 1500 1600 motor type 1

Wanted to know if anyone is wanting to sell a motor. Working of course. I have my 1600 in parts and can't put it back together. Don't have a vw mechanic where i live and don't have the time to SHIP it to Brisbane. I am desperate to get my bug driveable. I live in Brisbane (more or less) and am willing to go for drive two hours north south and west to get something.

Will also consider buying a vehicle with engine working!!!!!!

hey grumble, the engine have the 3 holes for type 3 rear engine mount?

The engine was out of an L bug I am pretty sure it has the drillings. It is too dark,miserable,cold and raining out there now so I will have another look tomorrow.Cheers Les
