Sorry for not explaining the request clearly - I have a 1960 kg and the front nose of the car is quite bad and is being difficult to panel beat - short of a lot of bog it is no good

I am looking to purchase a front nose panel in reasonable condition -

Hey I saw one on the week-end at a garage sale. It was in the corner next to some Hens teeth and a jar of Rocking Horse manure. Good Luck!

Import from the States ($$$$$$$$$$$) will be your only option Me thinks.

ring VVDS thye are wrecking one 02-9789-1777

hey thanks vw54 - I will phone them tomorrow - hopefully the one they are wrecking is closer to being okay than mine currently is.

I threw the concept of someone having a nose cone for sale with little hope of finding one in Aus - Vic Bahn has a entire front end but he wants a decent coin for it - the numbers were cheaper to get one from the states.

It is amazing what they have for sale as far as kg stuff and the dollars asked are reasonable it is the freight thjat is the killer.

I will put some photos on this thread as the restoration is coming along nicely - I have had to spend a lot of time getting the shed ready as it is really small space 4.8 mtres by 3.8 metres by 1.9metres - keep an eye out for the rottisserie (tilter - uk version - engineeringly way cool) http://www.cjautos.site90.net/nbnst0.jpg  /

Have you asked around (prolly Vintage best) to see if there are replacement panels available. Ghia nose used to be available a few years back, don't see why they would not be still available.
