Hi, I'm in a hurry to get a pair of front seats for a last model Type 3, that uses the '3 point' mountings/sliders. I am led to believe these are the same as SuperBugs of the same era?

My squareback just failed a blue slip (RWC) inspection with the only (and completely crap) set of seats I have in this style. All the spare sets I have of the older style are not helping me today!

Alternatively, if anyone has a pair 'for hire' for Tuesday 21/6/11, I can get rego and set about to repair the set I have.

I'm in Sydney (inner west) and happy to collect from just about anywhere in Syd. I can also arrange freight/collection from anywhere else, for the 'right' set (in case anyone interstate has mint pair they want to sell).

I've got cars throught blue slips with bad seats with creative use of foam and gaffa tape, covered with a thick set of seat covers tied on in a way that makes them difficult for the inspector to remove. This might be worth a try.
