Hey all , I'm chasing a beetle motor, maybe a 1500 or 1600tp? Want a bit more power than the ol 1200 :) has to be in decent condition ... Let me know thanks, ben.

Nothing I drive it daily, I just want more power:) haha. But yes I'd probably sell it...

if your 40hp is good, with a little effort/ingenuity and the same $ you'd spend on a later motor, you could zing up your 1200.

say add some later 1.1:1 rockers, small bore extractors, a home brew twin carb set up. then maybe some 83mm bigbore p&c and if you are keen some port work.

you will end up with a motor that has ok go and will increase your cars "cool" factor rather than reducing it (IMHO anyway).

Hi mate, couple of motors in sydney 800 to 1200. Delivery to coffs would be 80 to 100 or there abouts. call for more info
