I am looking to buy a brake failure indicator for the dashboard of a 74 Kombi.

The light (and it's mounting) is located on the left hand bottom corner of the plastic instrument panel on the dashboard.

It is orange in color, around 1CM in diameter.

Will pay reasonable price and postage (in OZ) for one in good condition.

You'll be very lucky to find a good second hand one, they weren't fitted for real long here and disintegrate under the aussie sun.
They actually start out red.

You may find new ones overseas though.
