looks like an early one rather than late one i thought the later ones had the reset knob to one side i think still nice looking

Someone has made this using a late type 3 Australian MPH casing and a late kombi trip speedo, which were black faced, not sure from which year but ? 1974+
Late aussie type 3 gauges have the numbers printed on the clear plastic, not on the face. Also, the part number 31A 957 023d = australian MPH speedo. A KPH tripmeter would end with 031.

Have a look at this type 2 trip speedo for comparison ( the owner has added additional markings for MPH, but it was the best pic I could find)
