Beetle Baja Body Shell 58 59 60? (QLD)

VW Beetle Body Shell Only

Have been told it is a 58-60 (Big rear window with semaphores) and alloy Made in West Germany Tag.

Has been turned into a baja at some stage in its life and has the front and rear panels removed.

Considering age and its previous life it is actually pretty good for dints and rust, both lower A pillars will need to be replaced there is some rust in the front wheels arches, there has been some repairs to the rear quater panel and other areas and I'm sure there is more the harder you look. The lower heater channels (sills) were cut off to fit to the old pan and these will also need to be replaced.

I bought the shell to cut the rear luggage area out and use in my other beetle however it may be of use to someone as I have been told there are not alot of these years around.

What you see is what you get (if it doesnt sell I will consider cutting it up to use as patch panels (roof, dash, front, B pilars, etc are all in good condition).

Pickup from Redbank Plains which is a suburb of Ipswich. We moved it on a large box trailer so it is easy to transport. Here are some links to pics (other pics of it are also found there):

We paid $150 for it and would so I'm happy to sell it again for that.

Someone buy it! It's a genuine early baja, easy to fix any rust and it's cheap!

No worries, I will hang onto it for you. I don't really want to cut it up or send it off as scrap metal as it would be a shame to destroy her.
