WTB - 2 x bucket seats for VW Baja [QLD]
zeroktrian - October 24th, 2011 at 11:09 AM

Hi All,

I'm after a pair of bucket seats to go in my '65 Baja. Ideally they'd have the rail mounts already attached, but a pair that is compatible with standard rail mounts would be ok.

Slightly off-topic, but even names/years of car model seats that are compatible for use in a VW would be appreciated (for wrecker-hunting purposes).

Cheers,

Scott

I think there was a guy over on the ManxClub forum who had a few sets left after his build.

Here is the link to the thread - http://manxclub.org/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1781

Do you have a good stock pair?
I'd swap the ones out of mine

Sorry BlackBug, I've currently got two bucket seats in it, but the folding mechanism is done-in so I can't get at the back seats very easily...

haha thats my back patio haha.....

the tired seats you see in the photo were too wide for my liking and made finding the handbrake interesting.....i gave these away a few months back....they were possibly subaru liberty ? but not sure

i think the ones on the left which i am currently running were supra......

the saas seats in the back ground dont pivot.....but they are still in my shed but i would have to relay any offers ($$) to their owner :)

i will have some nice subaru liberty ones in a few weeks as i am wrecking a vehicle soon....make me an offer if your keen.....
im at albany creek brisbane

I've got MX5 seats in my buggy, good width to still get at everything and after 2 1/2 months and nearly 15000k trop they are as comfortable a seat as I've found.

i agree cant go wrong with mx5.....symetrical mounts too.....means easy to mount
