1303Steve - February 8th, 2012 at 12:28 AM

Hi

Bugsprays are one of the worst carbs you can buy, they suffer from icing in winter and about as drivable as an on / off switch.

Joel - February 8th, 2012 at 12:04 PM

Agreed, those cast iron bases ice up shockingly.

I dropped mine in the bin, wasn't even useful for a doorstop, kept tipping over.

I got given it with a single port manifold back in the mid 90s, like Steve said it had no progression, just rough idle or flat bicky.

They're off old 50s Ford V8 panheads from memory so parts can be hard to find for them.

If you want an old school twinthroat, Weber DCN/DCNF are 1000x the carb Holley 2110 are.

esevwbits - February 8th, 2012 at 12:34 PM

Agreeed Joel!

I have a pair of single port manifold ends to suit this manifold if your interested. Rare as crows teeth!
Cheers Dave
